piece of pop music." – POPMATTERS

Goldfrapp have revealed the brand new video for “Systemagic,” taken from their critically-lauded new album, Silver Eye. Watch HERE.

Making her directorial debut, Alison Goldfrapp demonstrates a natural creative progression as she is responsible for the album’s artwork and art direction for the previously released “Anymore” video. “Systemagic” features a coven of moon-worshippers dancing under the watchful Silver Eye. The visceral and dramatic video was choreographed by illyr - who was listed on the recently-released Dazed 100. Fans of the ABC series Quantico may also notice “Systemagic” and “Faux Suede Drifter” – also taken from Silver Eye – could be heard during last week’s episode.

Regarding the “Systemagic” video, Alison says “I wanted the focus to be on the dancers, their bodies and their movement. It’s my first outing into directing. And wow, what an experience! I hope I’ll do more. Its a world I’d like to explore and learn much much more in!”

Goldfrapp will play Philadelphia’s Theatre of the Living Arts tonight before performing a pair of shows later in the week at the newly-opened Brooklyn Steel in New York. See below for additional information and ticketing links.

Further live shows this year include appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Blue Dot Festival and Latitude Festival.
